Homosassa Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident

A Homosassa man died Monday morning after he lost control of his motorcycle in Floral City, according to reports.

The crash happened at 9:05 a.m. on East StageCoach Trail at the intersection of South Zanmar Drive.

Troopers believe the 65-year-old was riding a 2006 Honda motorcycle east on Stage Coach Trail when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road.

The bike exited the road and traveled onto the shoulder, then overturned, ejecting the man.

He was taken to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, where he died from his injuries.
