A 24-year-old Floral City man was killed last month while crossing an intersection in Hernando, Florida on an early Saturday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident that occurred at about 5:30 a.m. on North Croft Avenue, an area that is considered to be dimly lit.
The man was apparently struck by a 20-year-old Inverness man driving a 1992 Honda Accord.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The FHP claims alcohol was not a factor in the collision, and no charges have been filed.
